In The Wrong

              On Jan 23, 2023, chaos broke out all over the news about the murder of Brandon Farwell the famous French actor married to Piper Farrell a famous American model. They lived in a prestigious neighborhood in West Hollywood, California. The Brandon was shot behind the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and the only evidence was a bullet shell found by the body and a home security footage of the incident. Police showed up at the Farewell mansion around 4:30 pm Piper Farwell answered the door. She looked confused when she answered the door. The police informed her of her husband’s death as piper broke down hysterically crying, police took her back to the station to be questioned. Upon arrival She saw Brandon’s co-star and biggest rival Matt Black sitting there looking frightened. Matt was taken into questioning and when he came out, he quickly walked out of the police station, his head pinned down staring at the floor. Piper was then taken into questioning the police officers suspected her of killing her husband for money however piper told the police that she makes plenty of money herself and she signed a prenup when she and Brandon go married. The police took her off the suspect list. Police suspected the killer’s motive to be about money. Two days later there was an anonymous call saying Matt Black was the killer. Three days there was a warrant out for Matt Blacks arrest. When the police went to Matts’ house there was no sign of him. As they heard a crash in the back yard the police rushed to the back yard and saw Matt trying to run. They chase him out the back yard and down the street the police officer released a K9 dog who grabbed Matt and pulled him down. Matt was arrested and put in jail awaiting trial. Police later changed their motive from being about money to being about jealousy as Matt was found to be envious of Brandon for getting the lead character in an upcoming movie. Matt was also said to have the same type of gun as the bullet found at the scene, however the gun from Matts house was missing no bullets. Comparing Matt to the guy in the security footage Matt seemed to be the perfect fit for the killer in the final days leading up to Matts trial the police get a call about a gun being found down by a lake that is right behind the Farwell’s home the gun was the same type of gun used to kill Brandon Farwell however there was a singular bullet missing out of the gun. The police took the gun to test for fingerprints. The test comes back positive, and the prints are matched with Piper Farwell. Piper was taken into the station and questioned on why her fingerprints were on the gun she tried to explain to the cops that she was being framed however her story did not add up to what she told police earlier.  After hours of questioning Piper finally cracked, she told police that she had discovered Brandon was having an affair. Brandon was going to the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly hills hotel 2 times a week. She decided that she would kill him, and she took the gun and went to the back of the hotel when Brandon walked out, she confronted him and then shot him. When she left the hotel, she went home and threw the gun into the lake behind their house and made an anonymous call about Matt Black being the killer. The police arrested Piper and after a short trial she pleaded guilty, and we sentenced to 18 years in prison.
